Is apartment rental for me?
The answer really depends on your individual person and preferences. Some people simply need the structure of a hotel environment and prefer to leave the decisions to others. But those who value the personal freedom that comes with renting an apartment as well the opportunity to explore the city independently will find significant advantage in an apartment rental.

Can I book for any period?
Apartments are available on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Daily rentals do not require a minimum rental period.

What about payment?
Payment can be made either by bank transfer or credit card prior to arrival or by cash or credit card upon arrival. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a Value Added Tax and applicable transaction fees.

What about the security deposit?
Depending on the circumstances, we may ask for a security deposit. In the event we have to hold deposit for an amount of money as a guarantee against damages and or telephone charges, this payment is not actually taken, except for any costs that are notified to us following departure.

What about visa support?
Although we do not provide visa support directly, we can refer you to a partner company with extensive experience in this area. An invitation for a two-week tourist visa can usually be sent to you by fax within one business day.

What about check-in and checkout times?
Under most circumstances, standard check-in time is from 14.00 on the day of arrival and checkout time is 12.00 on the day of departure. When available, we do offer early check in and late checkout with an additional surcharge. Please indicate this at the time of your booking.

What about airport/train station transfers?
Roundtrip airport and train station transfers available for an additional charge. Approximately one week before arrival we ask you to send us your arrival details and flight/train information. A driver with a name card will meet you as you upon arrival and transfer you directly to your apartment.

What about the keys and apartment information?
Upon arrival you will be provided with keys and detailed information as well as a brief overview of the apartment by either the driver designated to meet you or when you pick them up yourself in our office.

What about housekeeping and laundry service?
Housekeeping is provided three times per week, usually on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Note that it is advised that you agree in advance with your property manager what time you would like the maid to begin. Housekeeping staff also provides laundry services. Clothes designated by you will be washed, dried and ironed at no additional charge

What about shops, restaurants, and ticket reservations?
A list of restaurants and shopping can be provided upon confirmation of booking. As we know the city quite well, we will also be happy to make personal recommendations. Subject to availability we can also arrange for the reservation and purchase of tickets to any of the city’s concert or performance venues.

What about public transportation?
The historic quarter is quite suitable for pedestrian traffic, with parks, museums, and main cultural attractions all in close proximity. There is also an extensive and inexpensive metropolitan system, city buses, and taxis available.

What about the kitchen?
Each apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils, tableware, and kitchenware. Appliances include gas oven, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, and electric kettle.

What about telephone calls and charges?
For your convenience, a direct-dial telephone line is provided in all apartments. All local telephone calls are free of charge. For international long distance, we recommend and will assist you in the use of inexpensive prepaid calling cards available from local providers. Note that a telephone deposit may be requested upon arrival.

What about linen and towels?
Each apartment comes stocked with bed linen, pillows, comforter, blankets, and towels. Housekeeping provides linen and towel changes on a twice-weekly basis. Additional items are available upon request.
